GetResponse and ClickBank Complete Tutorial (Step-by-Step 2021 Guide)

In this video, I show you the complete ClickBank + GetResponse tutorial so that you know how to promote your ClickBank offers.

Follow along with me step-by-step and let’s cover the following:

0:00 Introduction
1:15 Selecting our ClickBank offer
4:51 Creating a GetResponse landing page and thank you page
33:05 Setting up conversion tracking with ClickMagick
37:18 Creating the GetResponse autoresponder sequence

Let’s get straight into it!

Step 1: Select your ClickBank offer

The first thing you obviously have to do is select your ClickBank offer.

ALWAYS read the affiliate terms and conditions before promoting any offer – for example the Resurge offer does NOT allow you to promote on Google Ads under any circumstances… so you don’t want to do that and get banned from the network.

We never promoted a Tinnitus offer before, so let’s go ahead and promote the Sonus Solution as an example.

This product doesn’t have an affiliate page, so definitely email the affiliate manager and ask to see the terms and conditions of the product.

Step 2: Create your GetResponse landing page

Now that you selected your product, you’re ready to create a landing page for it.

Because the Sonus solution offer page is a big giant video, we can ask for emails from prospective clients in exchange for providing them with this free video that shows how to do xyz, in our case reveals the real cause of tinnitus.

So head over into GetResponse, click on landing page, and select from an existing template.

We created a 52.68% conversion rate landing page from scratch in GetResponse earlier on, so you can see that video here if you’re interested:

But to provide a more realistic example, we went ahead and selected a template and then just changed some things up, like the background image, headline and desciption, testimonials, and so on.

In the top-left corner, you can also select the thank you page tab, and just change the thank you page there.

Take the affiliate link that you were provided from step 1 and add it to the button of the GetResponse thank you page.

You also have to add the ?tid=[cmc_vid] to it however so that it tracks sales and reports the data back to ClickMagick.

If this doesn’t quite make sense to you yet, check out the video linked down below on how to set up sales tracking with ClickBank and ClickMagick.

But for now let’s move on to step 3 of this ClickBank and GetResponse tutorial.

Step 3: Set up ClickMagick conversion tracking

Tracking is absolutely essential as you already know, so I’m using ClickMagick to track my GetResponse landing/thank you page as well as the ClickBank offer.

I cover how to set up tracking in detail in this video, so check it out:

πŸ‘‰ How to track ClickBank sales with ClickMagick:

But in GetResponse, you’re simply going to drag the JavaScript element ANYWHERE on the page and add the conversion tracking code to it.

Don’t worry – it won’t be seen no matter where you put it.

Do the same for your thank you page with the action conversion code and you’re good to go – whenever someone lands on your landing page, signs up, and then buys, you’ll see everything in ClickMagick.

Let’s head over to the last step now!

Step 4: Create the GetResponse autoresponder sequence

Lastly, you have to set up the actual autoresponder which will send out emails to prospects that sign up on your landing page.

So in GetResponse, click on “Lists” and first come up with a name for your autoresponder list.

If someone else in GetResponse is already using that name, unfortunately you can’t use it. πŸ™

But create the name and then click on “Create Autoresponder” and just fill in the blanks.

Enter the name of the first email name, select when you want to send it (day 0 if immediately), and compose the actual email.

You want to give the prospects what they signed up for, and give a brief introduction of yourself as well as give them something to look forward to in your upcoming emails.

Ask them to make sure they whitelist you so they actually receive your emails, and then head back to your landing page settings and add this autoresponder to the page.

And that’s how you use ClickBank with GetResponse!

  1. @Ivan Mana thank you so much. I got to your video via recommended content, I was watching tutorial on LP from GetResponse (their own content) and it sucked badly. It didnt explain anything usefull and it focused on the obvious things. I felt like I was being treated like an idiot without any worthy tip or advice. In the meantime your video is very usefull. First of all you are showing how one can customize template (most of the cases when you create your own LP) with couple of easy steps and on the real life example. Excellent job.

  2. Hello sir ivan. I followed every step you did. When I ran facebook ads i got rejected. Reason is it says ad must not circumvent our ad review process. Thanks. What can I do? Is facebook ads stricter than google ads?

  3. Be careful guys, if you decide to cancel a GetResponse account, they have a tricky way to keep your account running and keep billing you, even after you click on cancel my account, and then again click on yes I am sure I want to cancel, they show you the message, we are sorry to lose you, you should scroll down again and click again on another "yes cancel my account"

  4. Would you do an updated version using GetResponse as the landing page+Thankyoupage, using FB ads+pixel and click magic all integrated together? From start to finish? Because I keep jumping around videos and keep getting confused because some videos are partially outdated or are using different services in each video or you already did some parts from other videos. Unless you have a video with this combo that I missed.
